Yes dear you are definitely eligible to apply for Indian Police Service Examination being a M.Com Candidate. But you have to satisfy the Age criteria as well.

If you want to become a IPS officer then you need to give an exam called " Civil's Examination ". Coming to the fact that Civil's is the Exam conducted by UPSC once in a year in the Month of " May ".

1.You should have complete atleast graduation from the recognized university with minimum percentage of marks.

2.Minimum Age : 21 years

Maximum Age : 30 years

To join Indian Police Service, you are required to write "Civil Services Examination" (CSE) which is conducted by Union Public Service Commission Every year. Like every year, UPSC has notification in the month of may (today i.e., on 23rd May, 2015) to recruit right candidates to work in several services namely,
* Indian Police Service (IPS)
* Indian Administrative Service (IAS)
* Indian Foreign Service (IFS)
* Indian Revenue Service (IRS) and others

Since you have already Completed M.Com from a recognized university you are certainly eligible to appear in Indian Police Services Civil Service Examination. You are required to apply on or before the last date which is mentioned in the official notification. Make sure you scanned your recent passport size photograph and signature as per the requirements and furnish all the details in the required fields.

Yes, you are eligible to apply for Indian Police Service (IPS) examination being a M.Com Post Graduate. The Indian Police Service (IPS) examination is conducted by UPSC every year and the eligibility criteria required to appear in IPS examination is mentioned below :-

1. You must be a citizen of India.

2. You must have obtained a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline from a recognised university.

3. You must have attained the minimum age of 21 years and must not have crossed the maximum age of 30 years. Upper age relaxation is applicable to reserved category candidates as per government rules.

2. Personal Interview

How to Apply :-
Candidates who are interested to appear in Indian Police Service (IPS) examination can apply through by visiting UPSC official website http://www.upsconline.nic.in/.

Eligibility Criteria:

-You must be Citizen of India.
-You should have completed degree course from a recognized university.
-Your age should be between 21-32 years.
-Final year of degree course may also apply.
-Three years relaxation is applicable for OBC candidates.
-Five years relaxation is applicable for SC/ST candidates.
-No percentage bar is there to apply for this examination.

Procedure:

IPS notification notification has been already released. Last date for receipt of application is 19th June 2015. The examination will be held in the month of August. The candidates are required to apply Online by using the official website: Click Here. The candidate can pay their pay through Internet Banking or Credit / Debit Card or Pay the cash in any SBI Branches. The cost of application form is Rs.200/-
