Can I attend campus of TCS or other company if I got 59.6 percent in 10th 68.6 percent in 12th and have 7.63 CGPA upto 5th semester in be computer science? I need to know the right information in order to take a call whether to apply for the placement or not? Thank you!

Candidate who have completed their 10th, 12th and bachelor's degree with minimum 60% marks and above are eligible for campus placement of TCS. However, for other companies there may be some marks relaxation. But, with 59.6% marks in 1oth there are lesser chances for you in TCS. You can appear for other companies and you should not have any backlogs at the time of applying. Maximum 2 years gap is allowed in most of the companies. So, you are not eligible for TCS, but you may be eligible for some other companies.

The marks required for TCS Placement is 60% in 10th, 10+2 and engineering graduation in first attempt. So with less than 60% marks it is very difficult to appear for TCS placement drives. Apart from the marks, candidates should not have any standing backlogs at the time of joining in TCS. Candidates should not have not more than two years gap in education for TCS recruitment. If you are appearing for campus placement then you can contact your placement officer for more clarification. Regarding other companies, yes you can appear for other companies which recruit candidates with 55% marks in class X and the companies which recruit on the basis of graduation marks.

No, you can't appear for TCS recruitment.

Eligibility criteria of TCS recruitment:-

1)Required percentage of marks throughout the studies for TCS is 60%
2)You should not have any pending backlogs.
3)Candidates having more than two years gap throughout the studies are not eligible for TCS recruitment.

Yes, you are eligible to get the job in the leading MNCs. The minimum eligibility required to get the job is that the candidate must have scored a minimum of 60% in his 10+2 and minimum 60% (overall) in graduation also. Some of the MNC like WIPRO, TCS hires the candidate who has scored 50% in his graduation and 60% in 10+2. So, you are eligible to sit for the interview. You got 59.6% in your matriculation if they considered it as 60% then only you are allowed to sit for the campusing other wise you are not allowed to sit for the campusing placement. You can try through off campusing and also through walk in interviews. Try to improve your aptitude and technical skills this will help you to get the job.

Usually when these companies come for the campus selection they firstly give a training of few days then conduct an aptitude test which is solely their.The question paper is absolutely private from each other. If the candidates pass to qualify the test they would directly be called for the interview. They want to see your capability which they require not the marks which you have achieved in your school or college.
But, for a safer side you may consult your college authority and discuss about it.
