Good afternoon Sir /Madam, I am 12th pass student with arts and my 12th percentage is 55%. I want to join merchant navy. How shall I get into merchant navy? Please tell me Sir /Madam am I eligible for this job?

Sorry, it is not possible to join Merchant Navy after 12th with arts stream. Those who have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 10+2 are only eligible for Merchant Navy courses. There is Diploma in Marine Engineering, B.E or B.Tech in Marine Engineering and B.Sc Nautical Science are the courses available in merchant navy stream. For all the above courses arts stream students are not eligible. So you can study some other course in arts stream and not the merchant navy courses.
