I am interested in both science and commerce but little more in science. Now I completed my 10th, and interested to take science field. But I didn't studied my 10th and I have got only less marks in it. So, now I realised that without education there's nothing and now I want to study. So, can I study science stream without knowing anything on 9th or 10th. Is there anything base we want to study in those classes to achieve good marks in science +2? I will study in my +2 well but my question is I don't know anything about science in 9th or 10th. So, if I take science can I achieve good marks?

Yes, you can take Science stream for pursuing 11th standard even if you have not studied well in 9th and 10th standard. Candidates who have passed 10th standard in all subjects from a recognised board are eligible to get admission for pursuing Science stream in 11th standard. You should have some basic knowledge about Mathematics or Biology, Physics and Chemistry subjects of your 9th and 10th standard to understand 11th and 12th science stream subjects and achieve good marks.

To opt for Science stream in class 11th, you must have to complete your class 10th examination with merit marks in it.
Most of the Schools offer aspirants to opt for Science stream in class 11th, if they have scored a good percentage of marks in class 10th. Generally, admission is based on the marks scored in class 10th examination.
So, if you have got a good percentage in class 10th, then only you can get Science in class 11th on the basis of class 10th marks.

That is not an issue, it does not matter if you have not studied science in 9th or 10th standard, the only thing that matters is that how much do will to study science or any other stream.

If you are determined that you can do well in your studies, be it science or commerce or arts, then no one can really stop you, you are going to do well. Therefore, do not worry and carry on with whatever you wish to study and try to do well in it.

In order to get admission into any school for Science stream in class 11th standard, you must have completed 10th standard with good percentage marks. Most of the schools provide admission into 11th standard in Science stream on the basis of merit marks secured in the qualifying examination. So, you must have to complete your 10th standard examination with good percentage marks (above 60% marks) so as to be eligible for admission into 11th Science stream.

For science stream in class 11th, you need to have class 10th with science and maths from a recognized board of education. There is no other way to get admission.

Also, admission is based on merit on the basis of marks in class 10th science and maths marks. Hence, if you have got good marks, then chances will be good.

If you have achieved good marks in 10th and if some school is offering you the science stream, you can definitely take up the science stream for your further studies.

There wont be any problem if you haven't studied science well in the previous classes.
