Hello friends, my son is studying in 8th standard from Uttarakhand Board. I don’t want to continue his schooling with Uttarakhand Board. Instead, I am thinking to admit him in a CBSE school. So, I would like to know that which Board is better for 9th standard admission?

You can take admission in a good school, irrespective of the education board. There are some good schools affiliated to CBSE as well as state board.

Just go for the one, which has a better track record. Don't take your decision based on just education board affiliation.

Let me tell you that there is no any procedure of changing board or school in 9th class as because of registration reasons. So you have to continue studies of your child from state board and it is the only way.
