Hi, my son is 5 years old. I want to admission my son in UKG of our school. I want to know about the admission procedure and the fee structure for UKG and age for UKG and standard 1.

Till now, there is no rule is defined regarding age limit for admission in UKG under any CBSE school. However, some schools have designed their own criteria in this matter.
So, you should try to follow basic understanding age criteria given as below:

Age limit for Nursery: 2 years 6 months to 3 years 6 months.

Age limit for LKG (Junior KG): 3 years 6 months to 4 years 6 months and

Age limit for UKG (senior KG): 4 years 6 months to 5 years 6 months.

The age criteria required to take admission in LKG is 3 years 6 months. The fee structure for LKG, UKG and 1st standard is different in different schools based on the quality of education offered, facilities provided, etc.,.

I am happy to tell you that you can get your ward admitted in UKG at the age of 5 years.
The age criteria for admission in UKG is about 4 years 10 months to 5 years.
In order to get admission in different Schools under UKG, you must have to get the application form from the School premises. Submit the duly filled admission form to the School office. There will be an interview round of the candidates. Admission will be based on the performance in the interview.
The fee structure of different Schools vary from each other. So, you must have to contact to the respective Schools in order to get the exact details about it.

According to the age group requirement for UKG in DPS it is
01/04/2012 31/03/2013 If the child is 4 + then 31st March 2017

As per the child's age 5 years - In UKG
6 years - In 1st Class
with 15 years - In 10th Class
It is the correct time for admission.

The fees structure has a wide range. It may cost between 22k-1L completely depending upon the standard of the school.

My grandson took admission in standard I in 2017-18 in Hyderabad at age 5 years 4 months on 31st March 2917. Now we have shifted to Mumbai and he is in standard II age 6 yrs 4 months. Some school in Mumbai objecting the age should be 6 years 8 months on 31st March 2018. What is actual rule?
