Whether NIOS student is eligible to study B.Tech in Aligarh Muslim University?
Hello,
I am studying 12th Science from NIOS Board. I want to study B.Tech in Aligarh Muslim University. But I don't know I am eligible or not because I am a NIOS student. Please tell me about this. |

Yes, NIOS student is eligible to study B.Tech in Aligarh Muslim University.
NIOS student is eligible for admission in all B.Tech colleges all over India. Value of NIOS certificate is as same as regular board certificate in order to take admission in colleges. |

Yes you can take admission in AMU as being a NIOS student. NIOS ia highly reputed and recognized board. NIOS has value similar to other Boards of India like- CBSE, ISCE etc.
Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech in AMU- The applicants must have qualified Higher Secondary Certificate examination or equivalent course from any recognized national board. You must have secure not less than %)% percent marks in Physics, Chemistry And Maths . Diploma holders can also apply for B.Tech. |

Yes you are eligible because NIOS board is recognized board by government of India and the main eligibility criteria for Btech is you must hold a 12th class passing certificate from any recognized school or board
I would like to inform you admissions in Btech are provided on the basis of merit list generated by JEE (Joint Entrance Exam) marks conducted by CBSE board once in a year. In that ,manner you must need to appear in the entrance test to get admitted in Engineering course |

Yes, you are definitely eligible to study B.TECH in Aligarh University being an NIOS student, because NIOS student also gets the mark sheet which you can apply for admission in engineering colleges. The minimum criteria for doing engineering is that you should get at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in your class 12th academy.

NIOS has a same value as CBSE, ISC or any other state board of India. To take admission in B.Tech you must have 12th passed and Physics and maths as the main subjects. You must have obtained 50% aggregate in class 12th including Physics, Chemistry and Maths.If you are Diploma holder then , you can also apply.

In class 12th I scored 49.6% . And I took an compartment exam of English from nios then I scored 53% in class 12 . Please suggest me that am I eligible for amu b teck. Please sir . |
