sir ihave completed diploma my age is 22year i am extremely interested to join indian navy please give details to join the indian navy?

since your age is 22 you are not eligible to join NDA from where you could have got Indian Navy...but doesnt matter...you can first finish your degree and then try again through the CDS exam or technical entry..

Dear Friend,

as you have completed your diploma. you can apply for Navy Artificer for diploma holders. for the age limit is 18-20 years.it is generally held two times in year august/September and February/March . for details you can see times of India or employment news.

You are not eligible to apply for the Indian Navy. Because you can only apply for the MATRIC RECRUIT and MUSICIANS entry scheme but in both the entry scheme the candidate age should be between 17 to 21 years.

So you are not eligible to apply for the Indian Navy because you are over age and thats why you are not eligible to apply for the above entry scheme.

You can join in Indian Navy either after your 12th standard with maths, physics and chemistry or after your graduation in Engineering.

If you want join in Indian Navy after 12th standard.

You should apply for NDA exam.

For every year central government release the NDA-1 and NDA-2 exam

closing date on 15-11-2010

Exam is going to held on 17-04-2011

NDA-2 notification has not yet released,it may release 2nd week of April.

You can join indian navy after 12thclass if you have physics, maths and chemistry combination.so as do join merchant navy..

but you must have scored more than 60% in PCM in 12th board...............

you can join as a deck cadet on board a ship and train on the job for three years. After the on-job training one has to appear for the competency examination, as required by the Union Ministry of Surface Transport, to be eligible to become a Navigation Officer.

The physical requirement:--
Minimum height of 157cms for men and 152 cms for women with correlated weight.

To be an officer, you typically need to be in college and enrolled in the Naval Reserve Officer Training Program (NROTC), the Naval Academy (USNA) or have a college degree in a Navy approved area (i.e. engineering, science, math, etc.) and get accepted into Officer Candidate School (OCS). Officers get saluted, get paid more, have a ton of benefits (i.e. officer club privileges, officer's mess on carrier ships, better housing, etc.). Of course, you already need a diploma and you need to qualify to get into OCS and upon being an officer, you are faced with the responsibility of the lives, essentially, of the men under you.
To be an Enlisted member of the navy you don't need a college degree. You must be qualified mentally, morally, and medically. You will be given a chance to take a practice test called the EST (Enlisted Screening Test) to test your mental ability, you must have a clean legal record (no open tickets and felonies are rarely waiverable), also a medical exam at MEPS (Military Entrance Processing) is required to determine if you will are eligible and what specialized field you will be qualified to attend; such as aviation, nuclear, electronics, medicine or other general area of work in the Navy. Most of enlisted Navy jobs are very demanding and they generally have lower salaries than officers. You have to go through boot camp (8 weeks versus 13 weeks for OCS).

If you complete your diploma so you are egilible for the Indain navy because CDS scheme is not for you now just apply through the application but its closed for you ..

through NDA exam you can join in the Indian Navy after 12th.

60% marks in 12th is required to join in the Indian Navy.

there are many chances to join Indian navy, i your age is below 19 then you can join NDA, for it you should have 12th, and you can also apply after deploma or graduation, its depend on u.
