I have a desire to study in Abroad. I want
to do my B.Tech in Abroad. But I also want
to become an IAS Officer. Can you tell me
is this possible to become IAS Officer if I do
B.Tech in Abroad?

Yes, it is possible to become an IAS officer after completing B.Tech in Abroad. The eligibility criteria to become an IAS officer is given below.

Eligibility to become an IAS officer:

1. The candidate must be an Indian Citizen
2. The candidate must have a degree in any field from any recognized University.
3. The candidate age must be between 21 to 30 Years.

If you meet the above Eligibility criteria then you can apply for IAS exam.

No, you are eligible for IAS exam if you have citizenship of India.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Services. IAS exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission. IAS exam is conducted one time in a year.

Those candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university you are eligible for IAS exam.

Age criteria:

For General: 21 to 30 years
For OBC: 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

No. of Attempts:

For General: 3
For OBC: 7
For SC/ST: No Restriction

Selection process for IAS exam:

1)Preliminary test
2)Mains exam
3)Personal interview
