How to become an IAS officer after studying in 12th?
I am studying in 12 n i opted for maths science .my aim is to become an IAS officer ,so what type of graduation course i can do after 12.

IAS exams are conducted by UPSC every year.
After 12th you are not eligible for this exam .To apply for IAS exam minimum qualification required is Graduation from a recognized University in any stream. To become an IAS Officer One Needs to crack Civil Service Exam. Age Limit: General - 21 to 30 yrs OBC - 21 to 33 yrs SC/ST - 21 to 35 yrs Defence Personnal - 21 to 33 yrs Ex serviceman - 21 to 35 yrs Number of Attempt General - 4 attempt OBC - 7 Attempt SC/ST - No limit on number of attempt For complete details go to http://www.upsc.gov.in |

To become IAS officer you have to first complete your graduation in any discipline from any recognised university.
Candidate have to apply for Civil Service Exams. Eligibility for IAS : Candidate have to complete his/her graduation in any discipline. Candidate must be citizen of India. candidate must be physically and mentally fit. Age Limit : Age of candidate must be from 21 to 30 years. Age relaxation in as follows : For OBC candidates : 3 years For SC/ST candidates : 5 years Please find the attachment for syllabus and exam paper.
