Post diploma in electrical engineering is a 2 year course offered in various polytechnic colleges of India. The syllabus is split into semesters, examination being taken every December and June. In this course duration students are evaluated on the basis of practical examination as well as theoretical examination held every six months. Marks are given on basis of Continuous Formative Assessment and End Semester Examination. The course focuses on subjects like electrical machines, power electronics and instruments.
