Chartered Accountancy-Integrated Professional Competence Course Examination - Group II Advanced Accounting Papers
Accounts are the only subject in the entire world which is required by everyone in their life. A person can live without the knowledge of any subject but at some phase of his/her life accounts will be needed. For a Chartered Accountant the knowledge of accounts is the prime thing and the group II Advanced Accounting paper is one of the most important subjects for a Chartered Accountant.
Maximum marks and time allotted
The exam is of 100 marks and maximum time allotted is three hours.
About the paper:
All the questions are to be answered however there are some internal options. So the student cannot do selective study and thus the student will be aware of all the topics of the subject like balance sheet, bills, debentures, shares, journal entries and etc with which they will be surrounded later in their life. The theory part in this paper is very less and primarily it has sums and for the sums the working notes form a part of their answer. Usually the sums are of 16 or 8 marks each but it depends on the type of question there is no fixed rule or pattern set up.
