The Tamil Nadu State Board of School Examination came into being with the aim of providing quality and disciplined education system to its students. Class 12 Board examinations are conducted by this board in the month of March-April every year. At the higher secondary level, nursing is an important course of education. Nursing basically deals with the study of taken care individuals, families and communities so that they may attain, maintain or recover optimal health and quality of life from conception to death.

How the Paper is divided?

There are four major divisions in the paper which are categorized as Section A, Section B, Section C ad Section D.

How the Paper looks like?

The paper carries four parts. Part one consists of MCQs, match the columns and fill in the blanks. Part two consists of twenty questions out of which fifteen are to be answered. Part three consists of eight questions and students have to answer only 6 out of these 8 questions. The fourth part consists of seven long answer questions out of which four must be answered.

How much marks are allocated for every section and every question?

The Nursing Paper carries a total of 150 marks which are distributed in four parts. Part one consists of 50 marks. Part two consists of 30 marks where fifteen questions of 2 marks each must be answered out of twenty. Part three consists of 30 marks where six questions each of 5 marks must be answered out of eight. The last part consists of 40 marks where four long answer questions are to be attempted out of seven. In this section every question is of 10 marks.

How much time you will get to complete the Paper?

You will be given 3 hours in order to finish your paper.
