The transformation of Natural Rubber or Latex into different Rubber products or forms and the technology associated with this development is known as Rubber Technology. The course of Rubber technology also deals with various types of Rubbers and their properties. There are various methods involved in the processing of Rubber. They are vulcanization, mastication and calendaring. Crude Rubber is formed into various desirable shapes and sizes once it undergoes these procedures.

We also see that the automobile industry is becoming much bigger in size by each passing day as more and more people use vehicles. Tyres are required for vehicles and so Rubber is required. We find that Rubber is also used in many industries, nowadays. So, we can say that Rubber technology is fast emerging as a career option.
