Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) was established on August 15, 1969 under the Government of India. The major objective behind the establishment of the organisation was to have the leading space research organizations in the world under the Government of India. The headquarter of the organisation is located in the state of Bangalore. Mr. K. Radhakrishnan is the chairman as well as the administrator of the organisation. The major objective of the organisation is to develop the space technology.
Job Profile:
Online applications are being invited from eligible Indian Nationals for filling up the following positions of Research Scientist in Indian Space Research Organization. The posts are to be filled purely on temporary basis for a period of atleast 3 years. The position of Research Scientist is available in Agro Meteorology, Satellite Data Processing & GIS Analysis and Software Development disciplines.
Post available in the discipline of Agro Meteorology or Atmospheric Sciences.
1. Recruitment of Research Scientist:
No. of posts: Only 1 post is available.
Educational Qualification: Candidtaes must possess B.E. or B.Tech in the concerned discipline from a recognized university with experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 6600.
Post available in the discipline of Satellite Data Processing & GIS Analysis, Datat Collation and Database Design.
2. Recruitment of Research Scientist:
No. of posts: Only 10 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidtaes must possess B.E. or B.Tech in the concerned discipline from a recognized university with experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Post available in the discipline of Software Development.
3. Recruitment of Research Scientist:
No. of posts: Only 5 posts are available.
Educational Qualification: Candidtaes must possess B.E. or B.Tech in the concerned discipline from a recognized university with experience in the relevant field.
Pay Scale: Rs. 15600-39100 with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Selection Process:
There are two different stages which constitutes the whole Selection Process for the above mentioned position in Indian Space Research Organiation. The two stages are Competitive Written Examination and Personal Interview Test. Candidates must qualify in both the stages of the selection process for ensuring their selection on the desired post. However, the final selection of candidates will be made only after the result of the Interview Test against Selection Committee.

Candidates will have to fill up only correct details in the online registration form available at the website. Applications sent through any other mode, will not be accepted by the organization under any special circumstances. Online applications will be recieved only from 20 October 2011 to 5 November 2011. Uneligible candidates are advised to not to apply for the above mentioned position.
