Haematology is a branch of medicine that deals with the study of blood diseases, blood-forming organs and blood. For seeking admission to this super specialty course, candidates must have completed their M.D in any of medical branches like biochemistry, paediatrics, pathology and medicine. They should also take up the entrance examination and for applying to the entrance examination in most of the universities, candidates must have secured minimum of 50% of marks in the PG medical course in case he/she belongs to general category and 40% of marks if he/she belongs to reserved category like SC/ST or other backward class.
