Jamalpur College is a constituent unit of T.M. Bhagalpur University located in Bhagalpur and this college came into existence in the year 1969. The college began its operations as Jambalpur Evening College particularly for imparting education to the staff of the Eastern Railway and their children since it was established by a group of Railway workshop employees.
