Sanjivini College of Engineering, established in the year 1983, is affiliated to the University of Pune. This professional college offers diverse courses in streams of engineering and management. Admissions to Under Graduate courses is given on the basis of MHT CET. Selection of eligible candidates for M.E courses are carried out on the basis of score in GATE or entrance exam conducted by the institution.

Admission Process in Sanjivini College of Engineering

Under Graduate Courses

Admission to undergraduate courses is done as per the norms of the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra. Eligible candidate should have completed HSC course with English, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects. Pass in 10 + 2 must be obtained with minimum 45% marks. Candidates qualifying in Maharashtra Common Entrance Test/MHT CET for engineering/technology will be considered for admission. 65% of the total intake capacity in each stream are filled according to the score of the candidate in MHT CET. 15% of the seats are filled on the basis of any national level entrance test like AIEEE/IIT JEE/ISEET. 20% of the seats are management quota seats and will be filled according to the discretion of the management.

If there exists any vacant seats after admitting candidates through central allotment then chance will be given toDiploma holders in Engineering/Technology. Diploma holders in Engineering/Technology from Maharashtra state and with minimum 50% marks are eligible for such seats.

Diploma holders can seek admission through lateral entry also. Candidates who have completed diploma from the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education or equivalent are eligible. Admissions in this case are done according to the norms of the Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra.

Other than the admission process mentioned above, certain candidates can have admission to the final year of B.E course. Such candidates must possess any of the following qualifications.

  • Diploma in Engineering /Technology under Maharashtra State Government and
  • Have passed Section A and Section B of AMIE Exam

Or

  • Diploma in Engineering /Technology under Maharashtra State Government and
  • Have passed Section A and B of Graduate ship examination of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication (India)

Or

  • Diploma in Engineering /Technology under Maharashtra State Government and
  • Have passed Associate Membership examination of the Indian Institute of Metals, Calcutta

Post Graduate Courses

Admission to M.E courses are done purely on the basis of merit. Candidates with valid GATE score will be given preference. Non GATE candidates should qualify entrance test conducted at the institution for admission. The written test comprises of objective as well as subjective type questions. Syllabus for the exam will be same as that of GATE exam. Admission to MBA courses is offered on the basis of CAT/MAT score.
