The University of Delhi offers the course of M. Sc in the subject of Operational Research. There are a total of ten papers, in the first year of the course. The names of each of the paper are:

First Year, 01st Semester:

•    Course 101: Mathematical Programming-I
•    Course 102: Inventory Management-I
•    Course 103: Queuing System-I
•    Course 104: Statistics-I
•    Course 105: C++ & UNIX: Practical and Theory

First Year, 02nd Semester:

•    Course 201: Mathematical Programming-II
•    Course 202: Scheduling Techniques
•    Course 203: Marketing Management
•    Course 204: Reliability & Maintenance Theory
•    Course 205: Java Programming: Practical and Theory

Each of the paper, carries a maximum of one hundred marks, and is divided into two parts, namely Theory part and the Internal Assignment part. The theory part has a maximum of seventy marks and the other carries a maximum of thirty marks. The theory paper has a maximum of three hours duration. Each of the paper has a maximum of four credits. The paper carries both long answer based as well as short answer based. Internal Options are offered in the paper. Multiple Choice questions are offered in the exam, having a maximum of four options.
