Re: Are 10th and 12th marks relevant for IAS exam?
First thing I would like to know you that the official name of IAS examination is Civil Services examination which is held by UPSC once every year for recruitment of administrative officers like IAS, IPS, IFS, etc. .
--> The basic qualifications required for appearing in the same examination are as here under :- * You must have the nationality of India. * Your age must lie within 21 years to 32 years if you belong to general category. Further age relaxation is applicable for reserved category candidates. * You must have completed your bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university. As far as you are concerned about your marks in Class 10th and Class 12th then as clarified from mentioned eligibility criteria required that what matters for one's eligibility is the bachelor degree course not the marks in academics. Further the selection is also completely based on the performance of Civil Services examination. For more details about Civil Services examination you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in. |
