Hi dear,

GATE scores are valid for two years.

So,if you are appearing for it this year then it is valid upto 2012.

this confusion is because,in 2009 GATE exam it was decided that it should be valid for 1 years,but later on from this year it is announced that it will be valid for 2 years.

recommendations are also made to validate the gate 2009 scores for 2010,lets see whts happen.

• The GATE score card is valid for 2 years
• Note- Pre-final year student are not eligible for GATE-2012
• Last date of submission of online form-21st october 2011

t in 2010, the validity of GATE score card is 2 yr.

It may be change in next year as per the decision of GATE committee .

i got 217 as score in gate 2011 and qualified mark as 16 out of
22.50please tell me am i qualified or not or whether gate score card will be issued to only qualified students

the validity of gate 2011 score card is for two years from the date of its anouncement in 2011.You can ask for additional score card only once for Rs 300.

I completed GATE PHYSICS 1999 but just for the sake of certificate i require it. i don't have any reference No. except my name and my normal details

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. This Entrance Exam is being conducted once in a year to give admission for the candidates for M.Tech course in and around various colleges of India.

As per your query,

The validity of GATE score is for 2 years. This means if you have appeared for GATE Exam in 2 consecutive years, you can use the GATE Score which ever is better to get admission for M.Tech course.

In order to get admission for M.Tech course this year, you can use previous year GATE score card and current year GATE score card also.

As per eligibility,

You should have completed your Graduation in Engineering with any of the stream to apply for this Exam.

Candidates who are pursuing final year of Engineering course also can apply for this Exam.
