I want to become an IPS officer so what should to do to become an IPS officer in step by step ?

Hay now I am in 10th class and I am confused weather to take arts or commerce please help me

Sir l have completed my 10th std.I am asking that is computer science good for becoming an IPS officer?

To become an IPS officer you should complete the 12th standard .After completing 12th class you need to do higher studies any bachelor degree from recognized university.

IPS stands for Indian Police Service

This exam is conducted by UPSC once in every year.

Eligibility Criteria:- Bachelor's degree

Age Criteria:- 21 to 30 years

Selection Procedure :- Written exam & Interview

To be associated with the IPS or the Indian Police Service, you must give the UPSC exam or the Civil Services exam.
To crack this exam you must have thoroughly studied NCERT books and solved the previous year papers.
Also you must be up to date with the latest happenings in the world especially Indian politics.
