CSIR will hold the NET at 19th December, 2010 for determining the eligibility of the Indian national candidates for the award of Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) NET.

The test will be held in the following subjects :-

Chemical Science, Earth Atmospheric Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Physical Sciences.

And to be eligible for the exam you need a master degree or equivalent on the above subjects.

So, i think MBA students are not eligible for the NET .

You havnt mentioned whether you have attained any other PG degree or not, if you really donot have any other master degree then you are not eligible to write NET exam at all.
Since NET exam requires atleast master degree in one of the relevant subjects in the list. And master degree can be only be in Humanities (including languages) and Social Sciences, Forensic Science, Environmental Science, Computer Science and Applications, Electronic Sciences etc. are eligible to appear for this examination.

Yes, you can give UGC net exam. since you have completed MBA it hardly matters through which mode you have completed it.
You just need to have scored 55%

yes u can give NET exam, eligibilty criteria is u should have more than 50% in your MBA, and MBA should not be done in Human Resource specialised area..

Since you are in your last semester you are definately eligible for the net exam as for net exam you only need to have your 1 years certificate of post graduation.
