Yes, you are eligible to appear in UPSC and SSC ( for recruitment as Sub Inspector ) examination.

The basic eligibility to appear in examination is that candidate must have passed bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognised university in regular or correspondence mode.

So, you must prepare for examination and qualify in it for final recruitment in service. To get detail information regarding the examination visit at www.upsc.gov.in and www.ssc.nic.in.

The minimum criteria followed for Sub Inspector and Union Public Service Commission examination is bachelor's degree.

Correspondence degree is valid if it is done from institute which is approved by University Grants Commission and Distance Education.

If you institute is approved by UGC and DEC then you correspondence degree is valid for all exams.

Yes, candidates passed degree in correspondence mode are eligible to appear in examination conducted by UPSC and SSC.

So, you can continue your preparation for the examination.

The age limit varies with examination. No limitation on discipline and aggregate of bachelor degree to appear in examination.
