No, girls candidates are not eligible for NDA exam.

NDA stands for National Defence Service exam. NDA Examination is conducted for 3 wings-Indian Air Force, Indian Navy and Indian Army.

The candidate's who have completed the 12th standard from a recognized board or equivalent exam are eligible for NDA exam. Final year of 12th standard candidate are eligible for NDA exam.

Your age should be in between to 16.5 years to 19 years. There is no age relaxation for SC/ST candidates.

Sorry to say that girls are not eligible for defense just after passing the Intermediate examination. NDA (National Defense Academy) examination is conducted every year for unmarried male candidates only. NDA Examination is conducted two times in a year, this exam is conducted to join Army, Naval and Air force wings.

Girls are not eligible just after 12th, If your aim is to join defense, then better to go for graduation first. Surely girls can be eligible after passing the graduation examination.

National Defense Academy (NDA) is not for girls.

When you complete your graduation, then you can register for the CDS (Combined Defense Services). This examination is conducted by UPSC, twice in a year.

Do one thing, just complete your graduation first. When you complete your graduation in any discipline, you can apply for CDS Examination. Girls can only choose OTA (Officer's Training Academy) as a preference in CDS exams.

You can also apply for the Air force common admission test and Indian Navy examination, if you have scored more than 60% marks in your graduation.

There are lots of entries for girls after graduation. You can also go for the Air force exams and for this you have to complete your graduation with 60% marks and then you can apply for Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground duty Branch of Indian Air force.

You can be eligible for all the above mentioned entries only after completing your graduation.

No ; the girls are mot eligible to seat for the NDA examination but after graduation if you are willing to join the defence services then there are some opportunity for girls also.The NDA is only for male candidates.The examination is taken under the UPSC and is taken two times in a year.The candidates who are pursuing there 12 th examination or have passed the examination and are under the age of 16.5-19 yrs can apply and for it.
The examination paper is of 900 marks which includes paperI and paper II of 6 hrs duration.

Sorry to say that female candidates are not eligible to apply for NDA examination after completing the 12th examination. NDA Exam is conducted for only unmarried male candidates not for female candidates. This examination is conducted to join Army wings, Navy wings and Air Force wings.

If you still want to join defence, then first finish your graduation in any discipline which have interest to do it. After completing graduation, you are absolutely eligible to apply for defence service examinations. After completing graduation, you need to apply for CDS Examination. CDS Examination is conducted to join Indian Military, Naval Academy, Air Force Academy and Officer Training Academy.

As per qualification and your marital status, you are not eligible to apply for Military, Naval and Air Force. But you are eligible to apply for Officer Training Academy Examination. To apply for this examination, you must have minimum 19 years of age and maximum 25 years of age. Even you can apply for AFCAT women examination which is conducted by Indian Air Force twice in a year.

But if you are really interested to join Defence services you can give CDS(Combined Defence Services) Examination conducted by UPSC. You are eligible to give CDS-OTA Exam for SSC Womens Non-Technical Course. To give this exam candidate must be unmarried female and must have a bachelor’s degree from recognized university and the candidate’s age should be between 19-25 years.

The selection process consists of written test, followed by Interview and you should also satisfy the physical standards fixed by the selection committee.

Girls are not eligible to apply NDA exam.

NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission twice time in a year for three wings.

- Army wings

- Navy wings

- Air force Wings


Only unmarried male candidate must have completed 10+2 exam of a recognized School or Board and studying in the final year of 12th examination may also eligible to apply for Army wings.

For apply Navy / Air force wings only unmarried male candidate must have completed 10+2 with PCM subjects from a recognized board.

The eligibility criteria for selection in NDA are given as follow-
1. Age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.
2. At least intermediate cleared with any stream.
3. Male candidate
4. Unmarried candidate.

So,I am sorry to tell you this but for NDA, girls are not eligible.
But you don't have to feel disheartened, if you have the spirit of joining the Indian Army then you can do so after graduation. There are many options after graduation for joining the defense services. Some of those options are-
1. CDS exam,
2. university entry scheme
3. Air force conducts its own exam AFCAT which girls can also give after graduation.

If a male conddidates wants to go in the ARMY SECTOR then you should take science streams with maths in 11th std.
If you are from ARTS stream then you are not eligible for the NDA entrance exams and hence not eligible to join "ARMY"

The subjects which are required for the NDA entrance exams are-->>
PHYSICS,CHEMISTRY AND MATHS.
and in the ARTS streams there is no such subjects.Hence science stream is very necessary for NDA

Only then aftre you can go for the NDA entrance exams conducted for the 12th std students.

There are no option available for female candidates in N.D.A. (National Defence Academy) which is the en entrance exam for the Defence services as in Army,Navy Force and Air force to join the defence through N.D.A. candidate should be 12th passed out from any board of schooling education in India with any stream as Science, Art, Commerce.
Eligibility criteria for N.D.A. -:
1. Candidate should passed 12th in any stream.
2. Candidate should be Indian
3. A subject of Nepal or Bhutan can also apply.
4. Tibetan refugee comes in India before January 1962 can also apply.
5. Only unmarried male candidates can apply.
6. For Army any candidate passed 12th in any stream can apply.
7. For Air Force and Naval force only the candidate passed in 12th with Math and physics can apply.
8. Candidate should be physical fit and having eye side 6/6.
9. Candidate should not be physical handicap.
10. Candidate should not above the 19 years old.

Exam pattern -: The exam is taken in Preliminary and Mains exam.
Pre exam is conducted in-: Mathematics
General ability
Mains exam_: English
General knowledge.
After passing the written exam Interview is hold on by govt. And selected candidates are called for the training.

I want tell you cleary that there is rule for girs to join NDA

No one girl can apply for the NDA exam after 12th class
Only boys can join the NDA after 12th,
But they have to comlpete there 12th class and after that
They have also cleared the NDA enterence exam.

If a girl want to go to in indian army then she can give the other army
Or deffence exam.but in NDA there is no place for girls
