To give any government exam its expected that you will have minimum 60% in both 10 and 10+2 level.

Although you have that marks in your class 10 result but since you have failed to get the same number in class 12 therefore chances of you getting a chance to give this exam is less. Tough luck

No you are not eligible for the clerical post as you donot have the required marks. Candidates applying after 10th standard should have scored 60% in the same. 12th standard pass outs should have scored more than 50% in the qualifying exam. You cannot apply on the basis of the 10th standard as you are 12th pass out. If you wish to work in banks you can apply after completing graduation.

I am afraid that you are not eligible for Bank clerk exam. Your 10th percentage is good enough but the aggregate marks of 10th are hardly considered for the exam. In fact in most of the cases only criteria for eligibility is based one the aggregate percentage of 12th.

The age limit is usually set from 18 years to 28 years. however some relaxation in the upper age limit is provided for Schedule caste, schedule tribe and OBC candidates.

You can join after your graduation also.
For SBI clerk exam the eligibility criteria is-

- The candidate must have passed intermediate with a minimum of 60% However a relaxation of 5 % is given to SC/ST/PWD candidates
or
the candidate must have passed graduation with 40% marks However a relaxation of 5 % is given to SC/ST/PWD candidates.
or
The candidate must have passed diploma with 60% marks after 10th

The relaxation in the upper age limit is 5 years for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC candidates, 10 years for PWD(general candidates), 15 years for PWD(SC/ST) candidates and 13 years for PWD (obc) candidates.

The eligibility criteria fir IBPS clerk exam for age is the same however the educational qualifications are different.

Education Qualification for IBPS clerk exam-

The candidate must have passed matriculation with 60%
or
The candidate must have passed intermediate with 50% aggeregate marks
or
The Candidate must have degree from a recognized university.

what is the required eligibility for foundation exam?

Well dear friend, you percentage is really less in 10+2. If you want to apply for the clerical post then your marks are not sufficient for this. I think now you should get good marks in your graduation in order to be eligible for this entrance exam because once you have got good in graduation then no one will ask for your previous results.

Eligibility Criteria for the post of clerk in banks:

1. Candidate must be 10+2 with at least 60% marks.
2. Age Limit: 18-28(age relaxation for SCs/STs.)

Eligibility Criteria for the post of PO in banks:

1. Candidate must be graduate in any stream with at least 60% marks.
2. Age limit is up to 21-28(age relaxation for SCs/STs.)

Sorry to say but you cannot apply for any of the Bank Clerk Exams if you have just 48% marks in 12th .

The reason i am asking this is because only those students can apply for banking clerical exams who fulfill the below mentioned :

* You must have passed 12th with a minimum of 55% marks (IBPS) and 60% (SBI) from any recognized board.

* Your age should lie in between 18-28 years.

* relaxation in upper age is also provided as per govt. rules.

Sorry dear although your 10th standard marks were really good, but your 12th standard marks are not upto that mark where you could apply for bank examination. Especially for giving RBI or Reserve Bank of India examinations you will need a 60% all through.
Why don't you go for CA or chartered accountancy course. This is a short course and divided into two parts, professional course 1 and professional course 2. No restriction is there from marks point of view. You will have to clear the CPT entrance test meant for chartered accountancy course. If you get 50% or more marks, then only you will be able to join CA. At the end of the course you can join very prestigious jobs in consultancy firms and financial sectors.

Hello,

To be eligible for Bank exams(clerk and PO) the minimum educational qualificatio is graduation in any stream.

Since you have not a graduation degree , unfortunately you are eligible to appear in bank recruitment.
