Can I apply for IES Exam being a student having completed 10+2?


i am a +2 student completed my intermediate.can i apply to IES for engineering? how can i apply?

Sorry to say that 12th standard candidate are not applicable for IES exam.Because for IES exam the minimum Criteria id BE OR B-TECH Degree.

If you have completed engineering discipline in following departments then you are eligible for IES exam

1.Civil Engineering
2.Electrical Engineering
3.Mechanical engineering.
4.Electronics and Communication Engineering.

If you have M.Sc degree in Physics , Radio Physics then you are applicable for IES exam.

The applicant age should between 21 yrs to 30 yrs.Age relaxation is provide for SC/ST/OBC candidate.

Final year student also eligible for IES exam .

Number of attempts for IES exam is for general student it is 4., for OBC it is 7 times. and for SC/ST it is 9 time.

You are not eligible for IES because of the following requirements:
A Degree in :
• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics & Communications Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering
or equivalent degree from recognized universities.
Don't get disappointed set ur goal from now itself to reach it succesfully.....

Hello dear.....

Ies-indian engineering service.....this is a good exam....where you chances to work in government sector......

Sorry you can not apply for ies exam.....for this you need to complete your graduation(be,b.tech)

every one from engineering stream cannot apply for this....only courses like:
1.electrical & electronics engineering(eee)
2.civil engineering
3.mechanical engineering
4.electronics &communiacation engineering(ece)

this exam is being conducted by union public service commission(upsc).......age limit between 21 -30 years...the age limit is extended for obc,sc,st.....

Self confidence plays an important role...be dedicated towards your work...
