You have to study Criminology specialization in bachelor degree level in order to become a CBI officer. Only the candidate who complete bachelor degree in Criminology specialization are eligible to apply for CBI entrance examination.

To become a CBI officer you have to appear in Combined Graduate Preliminary Exam which is Conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Board) Every Year. This Exam is held Once a year which is in the Month of February.

Eligibility Criteria:-

-Applicant must have completed bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university.
-Applicant must have completed Criminology in bachelor degree course.
-Applicant age should be not less than 20 years and not more than 27 years and relaxation will be applicable for reserved category candidates.
