IES Stands for Indian Engineering Service examination.

IES Stands for Indian Economic Service Examination.

Engineering Service examination :-

Graduate Degree in :-

• Electrical Engineering
• Electronics & Communication Engineering
• Civil Engineering
• Mechanical Engineering

or equivalent qualification from a recognized University or deemed University.

Aspirant who are appearing in the final year of degree course may also eligible to apply for Engineering Service Examination but pre-final year of degree course may not eligible to apply.

The candidate age not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st august of the year of examination and Upper age limits for SC/ST/OBC categories and other reserved categories.

Important dates :-

• Date of Notification :- 10.03.12
• Last date for receipt of application :- 09.04.12
• Date of examination :- 15.06.12

Pattern :-

Indian Economic Services :-

The candidate need to completed post-graduate degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/Econometrics for the IES examination and a Post-graduate degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics for the ISS, from a recognised University or equivalent qualification.Those in the final year of degree can apply for Economic Services.

The candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years and relaxation is given to the reserved categories.

• Date of Notification :- 18.08.12
• Last date for receipt of application :- 17.09.12
• Date of examination :- 01.12.12
