The minimum academic qualification required to become an officer in the Indian Police Service is graduation. A graduate in any discipline is considered eligible for Indian Police Service. As per your present qualification, you can not apply for the same. So, first of all, you must complete your bachelors degree program from a recognized university. After completion of your bachelors degree program,you will have to qualify Civil Service Examination conducted by Union Public Service Commission. Qualifying this examination is mandatory to be considered for Indian Police Service as well as other civil services in India. Apart from being a graduate, one must be within the age limit of 21-30 years to be considered eligible for the examination. Civil Service Examination is held once a year and comprise of two stages of written test and an interview. Notification regarding the examination is published in India's leading newspapers as well as on the official website of Union Public Service Commission.

It's best to set an early goal in life and work towards it gradually.

For now you should concentrate on finishing your schooling and graduation .

It's very critical to have an outstanding academic record as Plan B in case CSE eludes you .

For the time being increse your knowledge about all subjects and things .

Read at least three dailies with one of them being a Pink paper .

Start reading novels to increase your ability to express better difficult situations .

Try writing short stories to improve your capacity to think express and write .

Discuss important Indian Asian and world issues philosophies ideologies happenings economic trends in a group of like mineded people .

Be cheerful and srptay healthy . Good health is vital . P,at some sports or games to learn the idea of team spirit and fair play.
