in every year i fill up the gate form,after being unsuccessful i think i shall preapare for gate exam in proper way ,but time goes on,i cant preapare myself in a proper way,ultimately i am failure.
can you guide me to crack gate exam in this year in lifescience in this short period?
which portion i must emphasise in life science syllabus to crack the gate exam in this year.

Hi,

The only way to success is that what you read, remember it forever at least until the exam. Also manage your time properly and distribute it to each and every topics as mentioned n the GATE syllabus. The questions are mostly from the basics and fundamental and if you know the basics then it will be easier for you ti crack the GATE.

the gate exam tests the basic knowledge of the candidates,
you have to be really strong in the basics and concentrate more on them,
also give as many model tests as possible to know your speed and effeciency
also do real hard work for one month

Through clearing gate exam you can enter in different IIT's and NIT's. for cracking gate exam you have to do labor hard.
Clearing gate is not a joke so be prepare for it and you can clear. pay heed on every subject and do previous year papers and saw the pattern of the paper.

Gate preparation can be done with 3rd year and final year and gate score is valid for 2 years.

well books by G.k publisher are good but in my opinion you should study from the notes of made easy they are very useful in cracking gate.

M.Tech -- Master of Technologies .

This is 2years Post Graduation which is done after successive completion of B.Tech .
This degree is beneficial if and only if you are certified from great universities of IIT .
You can apply for GATE in your 3rd year and also in 4th year .

It is better to apply in the 3rd yr itself so that you will get an idea about the pattern and questions in the examination .
If you attempt then you will get understand in which topics you are lagging and what are the measure to overcome your drawbacks in the subjects , and in which things you need to concentrate .
This is much better for attempting .
And if by chance you get a good score then you will be a seat in the colleges and the seat will be reserved for you for the next year , and if yo are satisfied with the college allotted to you there is no need to write GATE in 4th year again .

after clearing GATE xam should we do phd?
or there is any university who take gate score for phd?

You have to give at least 10 to 12 hours per day for studies...
Firstly you must know complete syllabus and exam pattern of gate life science exam.Then you have to give more attention for important topics of GATE life science exam.
You have to make notes for important topics of GATE life science exam and revised them regularly....
For better preparation you have to solve the previous year question paper of GATE life science exam or you can buy books for it... you can also join coaching classes for preparation of GATE life science exam...
