hello friend,

CPT exam stands for Common Proficiency Test which is conducted by Institute of Charted Accountants of India(ICAI).


*) the exam is conducted twice a year. the months are: June and November.

*) the exam pattern is
economics
mercantile law
maths.

*) there is no limit in no. of attempts.

*) the total mark is 200. if you get 100, you can go for next PCC exam.

CPT EXAM (Common Proficiency Test) No limit for attend this exam.its conducts two times of the year.

First time-June

Second time-December.

Its takes exam charted account of India.

So prepare for its exam and achieve goal.

YES, you can appear in the December 2013 CPT exams

But than you have to fill the CPT Exams fees
CPT exam fees is Rs 1000

ICAI has not announced the dates to fill the forms for December CPT exams

In the CPT exams questions are asked from the below sections:
Fundamentals of accounting
Mercantile LAWS
General Economics
Quantitative Aptitude

All the questions are asked in objective mode only
Candidates scoring minimum 50% marks are declared as pass
There are negative markings of .25 for each incorrect answer.

There is no age limit for writing CPT exam
You must register for CPT after 10th so to appear the exam after 12th
The syllabus of CPT exam is

• Accounting
• Mercantile Laws
• General Economics
• Quantitative Aptitude Test

If you are good at commerce and mathematics no need to attempt exam again ...
There is no limit for how many times you appear in CPT exam
CPT- common proficiency test ..
It is of 200 marks ..
you have to secure 100 marks in that.
