As per the sbi po recruitment following is the eligibilty criteria.Eligibility regarding age should be between 21 and 30 years. The relaxation in the upper age limit is cumulative as per government of India guidelines.Graduation in any stream with 60%. Eligibility for BANK PO exam:- Educational qualification:- 1.The candidate must have complete the graduation in any trade from a recognized university. 2.The candidate must have 60% aggregate through out the career. Age eligibility:- 1.The age should be in between 21-30 years.. For SC/ST the upper age relaxation is 5 years and for OBC the upper age relaxation is 3 years. So, one can appear in BANK PO exam till the upper age limit.. Go for it.. All the best. |

As of now there are no such limitations regarding the number of attempts in all the banks but, nationalized banks such as SBI and all have planning to put some restriction. This concept will get implemented from the year 2011-2012. As per the plan, the number of attempts for various bank exams will be as follows-
General Category 4 attempts SC/ST – there are no limits OBC- 7attempts OBC categories that are PWD- 7 attempts General categories that are PWD- 7 attempts The structure and pattern of the exam is as follows- Written exam will be objective type questions. The pattern of the exam will be as follows – Logical Reasoning Quantitative Aptitude General Awareness English language Computer Knowledge Marketing Section |

Every year SBI is going to annuonce the notification for the recruitment of PO (Probationary Officer) positions. In addition SBI will also leave notification for the recruitment of PO positions to its Associate Banks like
-State Bank of Hyderabad -State Bank of Travancore -State Bank of Patiala etc. The selection procedure for these PO positions is by -Written Test -Interview This year also SBI has conducted PO Exam for the recruitment of 1000 PO positions. In order to be eligible for SBI PO Exam, -One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university. There is no percentage criteria at all in Graduation in order to be eligible for this exam. -One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for this exam. Relaxation is there in upper age limit for the candidates of SC/ST category. Here are the maximum number of attempts for SBI PO Exam. -For the candidates of General category, the maximum number of attempts are 4. -OBC candidates can appear for this exam for a maximum of 7 times. -There is no limit on the number of attempts for the candidates of SC/ST category For more information on this exam, you can visit the official website of SBI. Dear pal,
SBI is a public sector bank as per the latest act all the public sectors have decided to have a common exam for the various posts namely clerk, probability officer etc. The vacancy available differs from bank to bank and it is at good numbers as they are intended in increasing the number of branches. The minimum age for appearing in the exam is 21. The aspirant of general category can apply till 30 years of age.The general aspirants are restricted to 4 attempts. While bc and mbc aspirants can make 7 attempts within a maximum age of 33. There is no restriction on the number of attempts for sc and st aspirant. The aspirant should have completed bachelor degree from a recognised university. Being a bank job the aspirant needs the knowledge of using computers and mathematics knowledge. Maximum number of attempts to SBI P.O exam for a General Candidate is 4 attempts or till the maximum age i.e 30 years barred by limitation which is earlier.
Besides this, the eligible candidate aspiring for SBI P.O. Exam, must be an Indian national having completed Graduation Degree in any stream from a recognised University within the age of 21 to 30 years with upper age relaxation for reserved candidate. B'coz this is my last attempt and I don't want to waste it... What if I don't give the exam this time...???? Will it count even in that case...??? Plz help.... |

General candidates- 4 times OBC candidates- 7 times SC/ST-No restrictions Other Eligibilty Criteria for the SBI PO exams: Education- Graduation pass in any stream. No minimum percentage of marks is required in Graduation Age- Minimum 21 years Maximum- 30 years |

Hi sir, I've applied for SBI PO s exam this year. Due to some circumstances, I am unable to attend the exam. Will it be also counted as an attempt now? or taking the exam only will be counted as attempt?
