Information Regarding No. of Attempt in GATE Examination.

GATE examination is conducted by the management of IIT college for the admission in the M.Tech course at IIT's college. Many other college also take admission in the M.Tech course through the GATE score card. If you want to know about the no. of attempt in the GATE examination then here i give you the details information.

NOTE :- There are no limit of no. of attempt and age for the GATE examination. So, you can appear in the GATE exam at any age and many times according to own wish.

you should prepare properly.. go through your subjcts books , go through the previous year papers also...
as you did it twice , so i think you have the basic idea...'

The maximum no of attempts for GATE exam is unlimited.

GATE score is valid for Two years.You can apply it for many times.

The eligibility criteria for GATE exam:-

(a) Bachelor’s degree holders in Engineering/Technology or its equivalent.

(b) Bachelor’s degree holders in Science/Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Electronics/ followed by qualifications obtained through an examination conducted by professional societies recognized by UPSC/AICTE.

(c) Bachelor’s degree holders in Architecture/Design (for M Des program only)

(d) Master’s degree holders in Physics with Electronics/Instrumentation (for M Tech programs).

GATE has no age limits..neither there is any restriction on the number of attempts you can make to clear GATE..
which means that you can appear for GATE as many times as you like so all the best and do prepare well and make sure you get selected this time..

* There is no restriction for attempts in Gate exam so you can attend many times.
* There is no age limit too.
* Candidates should get graduation in Architecture or in Engineering stream.
* Gate exam marks is valid for two years.
* There is no percentage criteria for this exam.

GATE aspirants need to fulfill one of the following academic requirements:

1. Candidates who have passed or appearing in 3rd or 4th years of 4-year Bachelors degree programs in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, or Pharmacy.

2. Candidates who have passed or appearing in final or pre-final year of Masters degree programs in Mathematics, Computer Applications, Statistics, or any branch of Science.

3. Candidates who have obtained or completed Section A or equivalent of professional examinations and courses conducted by societies recognized by UPSC or AICTE that are considered equivalent to B.E. or B.Tech., such as AMIE by IE(I), and AME by ICE(I).

I think there are no age limit and on number of attempt. because i have also applied for GATE (cs) and i have read the information brochure very carefully.

This year last date of submission was already over and if you are not fill the application your miss this chance.So please apply for the next session.

Eligibility :-

You have to completed degree in engineering/architecture/technology from a recognized university or equivalent qualification OR

You have to completed post graduate degree in science/computer science/mathematics/statistics from a recognized university or equivalent qualification.

Note :- Candidates who are completed or appearing in the final year of degree can also eligible.

GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an entrance exam conducted by IIT and Indian Institute of Science for admission to M.Tech. Courses in IITs, NITs etc.

There is no restriction to number of attempts to GATE which means a candidate can appear for GATE as many as times he or she wishes.

Apart from this the eligible candidate must be an Indian National having either appear for the final B.Tech. Degree exam or pass in any stream from a recognised University, can apply for GATE.

According to gate exam there is no limits for attempting that exam.
