Plz tell me minimum age limit of iit-jee exam 2011-12.
i want to crack this exam.

Hello friend,
There is no such standard mentioned regarding the minimum eligible age to appear in the joint entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology.
If you have qualified +2 level of exam, you are eligible to write the exam.
The maximum age limit to appear for the exam is 25 years.

The age limit for appearing in IIT-JEE is 25 years.
so yes you are eligible for next year... but is the last time you can write exam as after that
you will become 26 in next year....

For candidates belonging to SC, ST and PD categories, age limit is 30 years.

Also a candidate can take the JEE two times at the most.
This has been done mainly to reduce stress on students.........


your qualifying exam for IIT-JEE will be

• If you are 12th class passout or appearing
  
• else if you are diploma passout or appearing...

Either of these qualification will be consider...

One must score a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate that is 60% overall percentage including Physics,chemistry and Maths in your qualifying exam for GENERAL AND OBC..and 55% for SC/ST,PD...

The age limit for appearing in IIT-JEE is 25 years.
so yes you are eligible for next year... and this exam you fight only 2 times.after that you are not eligible

and you must have 12th with PCM

Dear friend,

Eligibility for IIT-JEE :-

1.The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board with physics ,chem and math.

2. You must score 60% above in 12 th.

Your minimum age must be 18 years and maximum age must be 25 years.

You can applicable consecutive two times.

If you fulfill the above criteria then you are eligible for IIT JEE.

Eligibility for IIT-JEE

The maximum age limit for appearing in IIT-JEE is 25 years

The minimum qualifications required in order to appear for the IIT-JEE is as follows :-

1) You should be a 12th pass out with 60% aggregate or above in PCM

2) You can only appear twice for this exam..once when in the year of your passing of 12th and the other in the next consecutive year..

The course for IIT-JEE is same as the course for 11th and 12th CBSE exams..so first you should be thorough with your NCERT books..then you for higher preparations you can refer the following books :-

1) M.L.Khanna for Maths
2) P.Bahadur for Chemistry
3) Concepts of Physics
4) Arihant's Past Papers for IIT-JEE

Eligibility Criteria for IIT-JEE Exam

• Nationality -Indian
• Educational Qualification- Atleast 12th or equivalent with atleast 60% with science stream and physics and maths cumpulsory .
• There has been a proposal of relaxation in terms of marks for sc/st and is 55%.
• Age- upto 25 for general category and 30 for sc/st candidates.
  
• Number of Permissible Attempts : 2 and that too in two consecutive years

IIT-JEE is considered as the best engineering entrance exam in india and is tough to crack so you need hard labour.

The age restriction for IIT-JEE 2012 is as under:

General (GE) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) category candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1987. Those born earlier are not eligible to appear in IIT-JEE 2012.
Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and those with Physical Disability (PD) must have been born on or after October 1, 1982. SC/ST/PD candidates born before October 1, 1982 are not eligible to appear in IIT-JEE 2012.
The date of birth as recorded in the high school/first Board/Pre-University certificate will be accepted. If the certificate does not mention the date of birth, a candidate must submit along with the application, an authenticated document indicating the date of birth.

IIT conducts the exam for the admission of students into the various engineering courses.
Qualifying Examination
you should have passed The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized central / state Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi

For general category the maximum age limit is 25
FOR SC/ST the age of up to 30 is allowed

ans: minimum age should be above 20-21 years old.

I want to ask if after passing 10 2 board exams I spent one year in preparation for IIT-JEE, then also can I can give two attempts?

Age limit for appearing in IIT exam of OBC candidate is more than 15 years and <=24 years old.

Maximum attepts to give IIT exam is 2 only.

there is not any minimum age to give exam of iit jee.you should pass 12th with 605marks and you have two attmpts:-first with 12th and second next year

It all known but for handicap student it's new that if a student is above 40% handicap he or she will get the collage, and if not he/she will not get the collage.

In 2012 a student from Bihar is 23% handicap so he could not get the collage.

Eligibility Criteria:

=>>While giving this exam your age should not exceed 25 years. If you do not satisfy the age criteria then you are not eligible.

=>>SC/ST and candidates with physical disability will be given an age relaxation of 5 years.

=>>General category and OBC category students must secure 60% of marks to give this exam. While the SC/ST candidates and candidates with disability have to secure 55% of marks.

=>>At the most you can give this exam for two times only. You have to give the exams in two back to back years. You are not allowed to take a year gap in between.

Is there any minimum age limit to be elgible to IIT JEE 2014? Please reply explictly!

Is any student, at the time of entrance exam is 17 years old, whether he is elligible for the exam or not?

Is any student seventeen years of age eligible to appear exam. If he gets through it ; can he get admission in to at seventeen plus age?

I am studying in class 12. Next year I would be eligible for appearing in IIT-JEE but I don't want to appear in exam next year. So I want to know that if I skip the examination of 2017 would I will be given 2 chances to appear in IIT-JEE in year 2018 & 2019
