Minimum age limit for IIT-JEE Exam?
Plz tell me minimum age limit of iit-jee exam 2011-12.

Hello friend,
There is no such standard mentioned regarding the minimum eligible age to appear in the joint entrance examination conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology. If you have qualified +2 level of exam, you are eligible to write the exam. The maximum age limit to appear for the exam is 25 years. For further information, click here. |

The age limit for appearing in IIT-JEE is 25 years.
so yes you are eligible for next year... but is the last time you can write exam as after that you will become 26 in next year.... For candidates belonging to SC, ST and PD categories, age limit is 30 years. Also a candidate can take the JEE two times at the most. The age restriction for IIT-JEE 2012 is as under:
General (GE) and Other Backward Classes (OBC) category candidates must have been born on or after October 1, 1987. Those born earlier are not eligible to appear in IIT-JEE 2012. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and those with Physical Disability (PD) must have been born on or after October 1, 1982. SC/ST/PD candidates born before October 1, 1982 are not eligible to appear in IIT-JEE 2012. The date of birth as recorded in the high school/first Board/Pre-University certificate will be accepted. If the certificate does not mention the date of birth, a candidate must submit along with the application, an authenticated document indicating the date of birth. IIT conducts the exam for the admission of students into the various engineering courses. Qualifying Examination you should have passed The final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized central / state Board, such as Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi AGE LIMIT For general category the maximum age limit is 25 FOR SC/ST the age of up to 30 is allowed |

It all known but for handicap student it's new that if a student is above 40% handicap he or she will get the collage, and if not he/she will not get the collage.
In 2012 a student from Bihar is 23% handicap so he could not get the collage. |

If you do not satisfy the age criteria then you are not eligible. =>>SC/ST and candidates with physical disability will be given an age relaxation of 5 years. =>>General category and OBC category students must secure 60% of marks to give this exam. While the SC/ST candidates and candidates with disability have to secure 55% of marks. =>>At the most you can give this exam for two times only. You have to give the exams in two back to back years. You are not allowed to take a year gap in between. IIT-JEE stands for Indian Institute of Technology join entrance exam.This exam is conducted to provide graduation course in engineering for qualified students.
To appear for IIT-JEE exam,you should have completed 12th/appearing for final exam of 12th class with PCM/any stream from a recognized university.And your age should not exceed 26 year(General/OBC category),30 years(SC/ST/PD category). I am studying in class 12. Next year I would be eligible for appearing in IIT-JEE but I don't want to appear in exam next year. So I want to know that if I skip the examination of 2017 would I will be given 2 chances to appear in IIT-JEE in year 2018 & 2019
