im +2 pass student & i want to become a police officer, so plz help me for ips test step to step detail.

you need to sit in and clear civil services examination conducted by UPSC...you atleast need a graduation degree with high second division to sit in this examination...
first of all complete your graduation and have a great command over your subject.....you can start preparing for general knowledge and general studies by throughly reading NCERT books and magazines like Competition success, frontline and newspapers like hindu....
general studies is the head ache of most IPS aspirants , so start preparing for it as soon you decide to seriously think IPS as a career option.

you have to pass out UPSC held Civil Services” examination! and then you are eligible for it.

there are criteria required for IAS exam..
1. candidates must be an indian
2.age must be in between 21 to 30,

as you said you are in 12th class , its very good to see your intrest very early.if you are planning of it then its good but you have to wait for some years untill and unless you complete your graduation. so my advice is that for preparation of ips like exam from now you keep yourself in touch with magazine like competition success and read newspaper daily like the hindu it will definetly help you in future.

first of all you have to get a graduation degree to become eligible. To become an IPS you have to clear upsc civil services exam. It is a very difficult paper and you will be called for interview and physical test only if you clear the exam. General knowledge is a must for the exam so, start preparing for it.

AS IAS officer is a very good career option.You have to sit for the SSC exam conducted by the UPSC for the posts of IPS officers .It is a common exam for getting into the IAS, IPS etc.

And in this they have a selection procedure ,including competitive exam group discussion etc .you will have to pass all the stages.Then you will be selected.

You will also have to face the interview along with the group discussion. All the best.

You only only appear for CSE exams conducted by UPSC each year. From there you will be selected IAS and IPS. The examination forms are mainly available from the designated head post office of the region.
Required Qualifications are just graduation any stream.

To become an IPS officer one needs to appear in the civil services exam conducted by UPSC every year.
To be eligible for becoming an IPS officer one must possess a degree from an Indian university or equivalent qualification.
Also the candidate must have attained the age of 21 years on 1st august of the year of examination & must be less than 30 years of age on that day.

The UPSC conducts the exam in 3 phases :
Preliminary exam
Mains exam
Interview

It doesn't matter how much marks did you get in 12th and what was your stream. Aslso your graduation subject doesn't matter for appearing UPSC. All you need is to satisfy the eligibility criteria ie passed in graduation with a govt. recognized university and also the age limit: 30years (GEN).

To become an IAs officer only thing required is graduation and 21 years of age. So just chill. 12th marks are not considered. For IAS and IPS you need to just appear for UPSC Civil sevice exam and score high enough rank to become IAs.

after that you have to write the exam which is conducted by UPSC.
read well.this is not easy to became IPS.so be prepare well.
and you have to attend for interview.
this is final test.

Nice to hear that. First, Complete your board exam with real good score. After clearing, Do take a graduation favorite to you from a Recognised University. On completion of your Graduation, You become eligible for the UPSC CSE Examination.

Normally, the Notification appear in the month of December in the Employment New paper. Application will be made available in the HPO's in the month of January. Do apply for the CSE Examination. On clearing the CSE Priliminary Examination, You will be called for the Main Examination. Thus You undergo these recruitment processes to become an IPS Officer.

Right now, All you need to do is Concentrating on your Board Exam very well to score high marks.

There is no such degree that is best to appear for the UPSC CSE Examination. All Graduations are good considering this Exam.
But, As you are interested in IPS, I would like to suggest with that. You can take Criminology and Forensic science as your Graduation specialisation as it will help you during the IPS training. You have training in forensic department after you getting selected to IPS, Where your Graduation in Criminology and forensic science will help you.

Sorry. You are not eligible for IPS Cadre. I believe, you can opt for IRS, IAcS, and other grade B services. Do check with the UPSC website: http://www.upsc.gov.in/ for details. You can also check the website: www.onestopias.com.

Hi,
You need to appear for th UPSC CSE Examination for this. This Exam is conducted normally in the month of May as Prilims which is an entry to main exam. Notification will appear in the month of December in Employment news. Application in the month of January.
So do keep watching the Employment news paper in the month of December. Can also check with the UPSC website:http://www.upsc.gov.in/ for details.

Hi,
On completing your graduation, you will become fully qualified for the Examination considering qualification. Marks in +2 and graduation doesnot matter. You need to have pass percentage. thats it. Also, Degree from a recognised University. Other eligibilities are,
Should be an Indian citizen
Should be less than 30 years of age(Not considering relaxation for various categories)
Thats all. You can appear for the UPSC CSE Examination.
