Procedure for an Indian Soldier to join CID?


Dear Sir, I am a serving soldier since the last 10 years. Sir I have the desire to join CID. Please describe the procedure for a soldier to join the same alongwith criterias for a soldier

To Join CID the procedure is same for all. Whether the candidate are serving in public sector or doing any other type of job.
CID comes under SSC (Staff Selection Commission). So to get a job here you have to be clear SSC exam.
SSC-CGL (Combined Graduation Level) exam is for the CID sector.
This exam comprise in two exams. 1) Preliminary 2) Main
The pass out candidate from Preliminary exam are eligible for the Mains exam. And according to the cut off the candidate will be selected for the Interview round from Mains exam.
The Candidate successfully clear the interview round, go for the medical cheek-up and Documentation round . And than recruited in CID wing.
