I just want to know the minimum qualification and age period to write an I A S exam. ?

Educational Qualifications :


Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification

Age Limits:
21-30 years of age before filing application forms

the age limit for IAS is 21-30 years as on 1.7.2011.upper age limit can be relaxed for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories

2)GENERAL-30,OBC-33,SC/ST-35;EX-SERVICEMEN WILL GET 5 YEARS EXEMPTION

*You need to complete your graduation course to appear in the exam.Final year Students can Also join for the Exam.

* Your age must be in between 21 to 30 years Of age.

Hi,

IAS(Indian Administration Service) is mother of all competitive exam.

It is the most Prestigious exam even more.

Candidate who want to prove themselves and want to a part of the government has to crack this exam.

Age-Limit-
Candidate must have 21-30 year at the time of exam.

Education Qualification-

Candidate must have graduation degree from recognized university.
Candidate have Teaching qualification recognized by gov. are also eligible.
Candidate who has passed MBBS or any medical degree and not yet complete internship are eligible for IAS exam.

for IAS exam as any Graduate from a recognised university or a college in India is the minimum

eligibility criteria for IPS.
He/She should be 21years to 30 yrs of age at the time of appearing in the UPSC held Civil Services Examination.

UPSC conduct CIVILSERVICE exam for top service like IAS,IPS,IFS and for other government jobs.Even this onwards the pattern

of exam also changed as it doesnot have any special subject and the paper will be same for all the candidates.

If The Candidate Have A Graduate Degree From The Recognised Colleges, Then They Are Eligible to Apply for IAS Examination.

So, Bachelor’s degree of a Recognised University Is the only the Eligiblity To Apply for IAS Examination.


And To Apply For IAS Examination, Your Age Should Between 21 to 30 Years.


Age Relaxation -



If you are belong to SC/ST, Then you will get Maximum 5 year Age Relaxation.

Maximum of 3 years if the candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes.

Maximum of 5 years if the candidate had been domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir

And for Blind and Handicapped Candidates, Maximum 10 year age relaxation is allowed.


Number Of Attempts Allowed -



4 Attempt for General Candidates.

Age limits :

The candidate must have attained the age of 21 yrs and must not attained

the age of 30 yrs on 1st Aug,2011.(i.e The candidate must have been born

not earlier than 2nd Aug,1981 and not later than 1st Aug 1990.



Education qualification :

The candidate must possess a graduate degree from any recognized

university.And Those in the final year of a degree course can also Eligible.

Number of Attempts :

4 attempts for general candidates.

7 attempts for OBC candidates.

There is no restriction on the number of attempts in the case of SC/ST

candidates.

To become an IAS officer following Eligibility criteria is there:-

1) Educational Qualification:-
You should have completed your graduation or you should be a degree holder.

2) Age :-
Your age should be between 21 to 30 years.

Relaxation in age:-
The upper age limit is relaxed in specific cases as mentioned below:
a) candidate belongs to SC/ST - maximum of 5 years
b) candidate belongs to Other Backward Classes - maximum of 3 years
c) in the case of blind, deaf-mute and orthopaedically handicapped candidates - maximum of 10 years


3) Nationality:-
Only Indian nationals are eligible for IAS .

4) Number of attempts:-

General candidates: four attempts.
Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.
Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.

Minimum Educational Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in any stream under any recognized university is the only educational criteria....

So If you have a bachelor's degree then you are eligible for IAS.

Age Limit: You should have crossed 21 years and should not have crossed 30 years of age...

If you belong to SC/ST category , then you will get 5 years of relaxation.
If you belong to OBC category, then you will get 3 years of age relaxation.
and PD candidates will get 10 years of age relaxation.

so if you fulfill all these criteria, then you should apply for IAS now....

because the last date to apply for IAS is 21st March, 2011.

The IAS exam is conducted by the UPSC every year. The detailed eligibility
criteria for the IAS exam is given below:

Candidate applying for the IAS exam should be graduate in any discipline

Candidate having degree of engineering are also eligible to apply for the IAS
exam.

Age Limit
Candidate applying for the IAS exam should have age between

Indian Administrative services exam is conducted by UPSC in every year. The minimum qualification for IAS exam is graduation in any stream from a recognize university and the age between 21 to 30 years. Hello friend,
Civil Service Exam for IAS is conducted by UPSC. The minimum educational qualification required is a bachelors degree from a recognized university.
The minimum eligible age for the same is 21 years and maximum age limit is 30 years for candidates belonging to general category whereas 33 years for OBC and 35 for SC/ST.

the qualification required for the UPSC IAS entrance exam is only the graduation form a well recognized college or the university with a minimum of the 60% of the marks in the 10th, 12th and the graduation level exam ...
the age limit includes that you should be at the age of the 21to 30 years ......
and there are about 4 attempts given to the general students.......

IAS 2011 exam will have new pattern of examination.

There will be change in the first stage i.e. Preliminary examination while other stages mains and interview being the same.

The Preliminary examination was replaced by CSAT- Civil Services Aptitude Test

The eligibility criteria for IAS 2011 is as follows
Educational qualification :
-One should have completed graduation from a recognized university
-Candidates who are appearing for final year examinations of graduation are also eligible
-A candidate must be a citizen of India

Age criteria :
-A candidate must be in the age of 21-30 years by the date 01-07-2011 for IAS 2011
-There is relaxation in the upper age for other categories.

Number of attempts :
For General : 4 attempts
For OBC : 7 attempts
For SC/ST ; No limit

For being IAS you need to be graduate in any of subject..
your age must be between 21 and 30..
for SC/ST candidate relaxation in upper age of 5 years..
and for OBC candidates relaxation in upper age is 3 years..

Details about IAS:

(i) Age limits :


21-30 years as on 1.7.2012. (Upper age limit relaxable for SCs/STs, OBCs and certain other categories as specified in Para 3(ii) of Notice).


(ii) Educational Qualifications :


Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification

Education Qualification

1.degree of a recognized university
2.must be a citizen of India.

Age limits
the age of 21-30 years by the date 01-07-2012 for IAS 2012
