Subjects to be taken for ECE student to prepare for Civil services Entrance exam?
i am a student of ece
want to know what subjects can i take up for attending civil services entrance exams |

HI..
well you are in ECE so preferably you might be comfortable in taking your branch related subject but unfortunately there are only three engineering subjects viz. "Mechanical, Electrical and Civil" so have to take your own choice whether which of the subjects you would like to opt there are a no. of subjects given related to language, arts and science. you could make your own choice by visiting " www.upsc.gov.in ". |

Electrical Engineering, Physics, Sciences should be easy for an EC student and good option means , the subject that you would feel easy and interesting at the same time . Check this site for other subjects - http://www.civilserviceindia.com/subject/ and choose wisely .

You can take of these , but two subjects which you should not be of engineering for example you cannt choose maths and physics.

Chemistry 5. Commerce 6. Economics 7. Geography 8. Geology 9. Indian History 10.Law 11.Mathematics 12.Management 13.Medical Science 14.Philosophy 15.Physics 16.Political Science 17.Psychology 18.Public Administration 19.Sociology 20.Statistics 21.Zoology 22.Anthropology And languages offered are: 1. You can take any two of the following , but remember two subjects you choose should not be of engineering field.
