IAS and IPS exam is conducted by UPSC through Civil Service Exam.

IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service

IPS stands for Indian Police Service

Those candidate who have completed graduation degree from recognized university are eligible for IPS/IAS exam.Final year student are eligible for IPS/IAS Exam.

The Candidates age should between 21 years to 30 years for general candidates .

Age relaxation:-



Permissible No of Attempts in IAS/IPS exam -

For General Category - 4
For OBC - 7
For SC/ST - No limit
