Eligibility for UPSC examination:-
1.Any Graduate from the recognized University can write common entrance exam. 2.Age: General minimum 21 years Maximum 30 years.OBC: 21-33 years.S/C S/T:21-35 years. 3.Must be the Indian citizen. 4.Attempts: General- Max.7 attempts, OBC-9 Attempts, S/C S/T: NO limit. For become an IAS(Indian Administrative Service) or IPS(Indian Police Service), you need apply for Civil Service examination which is conducted by UPSC(Union Public Service Commission).
To be eligible for this examination, you need to full fill these below criteria:- 1.You must be a graduate from a recognized Institution. 2. you age should between 21-32 age for Gen category. There is relaxation in age for other category. 3. You should be an Indian Citizen. You can appear for this examination for maximum 6 times for General category and there is not limit in attempt in other category. There are 3 rounds in this examination :- 1. Preliminary examination 2. Mains Examination 3.Interview. |

IAS and IPS exam is conducted by UPSC under Civil Services exam in every year.
IAS stands for Indian Administrative Service. IPS stands for Indian Police Service. Eligibility criteria:- Candidate should be an Indian citizen. For apply Civil Services exam candidate should be completed Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University. Age should be between 21 years to 30 years for General category candidates. Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years And SC/ST category candidates 5 years. Number of Attempts:- General category candidates - 4 time OBC category Candidates - 7 time SC/ST category candidates - No limit. Selection procedure :- Preliminary entrance exam Main entrance exam Interview |
