IPS stands for Indian Police Service. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC.

The minimum educational qualifications required is bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Final year students are also eligible for IPS Exam.

The candidate's age should be in between 21 years to 30 years.

The maximum attempts for Sc/ST candidate's is Unlimited. For OBC candidate's it is 7 years and for general candidate's it will be 5 years.
