IPS stands for Indian Police Service. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC. The minimum educational qualifications required is bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university. For apply IPS exam the minimum Education qualification is Graduation degree in any stream from a recognized University.
IPS stands for Indian Police Service. IPS exam is conducted by UPSC under Civil Services exam in every year. Eligibility Criteria for IPS:- Nationality- Candidate must be the citizen of India in order to appear for the Civil services examinations. Educational Qualifications- Candidate must have completed the Bachelor degree or the Graduation in any of the respective discipline recognized by the Government of India. Age limit- Candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not exceed the age of 30 years for appearing to the Civil services. Age relaxation for OBC category candidates 3 years And SC/ST category candidates 5 years. Examination pattern:- Preliminary examination Main examination Interview |
