The following are the modes of entry in IAF for Graduates. 1. Combined Defence Services Examination Age Limit: 19-23 years. Education- Graduation in any stream with Physics and Maths in 10+2 /B.E./B.Tech. 2. Flying (Pilot) Short Service Commission (For Men & Women) (Term of Engagement of 14 Years with no further extension) Age Limit: 19-23 years Education- Minimum 60% in Graduation in any stream with Physics and Maths in 10+2 or B.E./B.Tech. with 60% marks. 3. Direct Entry Scheme For the post of Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics/Mechanical) Age Limit: 18-28 years Education: 60% in B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent qualification.
