Respected Sir, I am studying in class 10th and after completing it i want to become an IPS Officer so I want to know what steps should I follow to become an IPS Officer after completing class 10th? Do I need to start preparing from now? Please answer as soon as possible.

Yes, you will be an I.P.S officer after completing bachelor degree and qualifying in Civil Service examination.

Civil Service examination is conducted by UPSC every year and minimum required qualification to appear for examination is bachelor degree and age must be between 21-32 years with relaxation in age limit for reserved category.

Candidates have to appear and qualify in each stages of Civil Service examination ( Preliminary, Mains and Interview ) for final selection. So, you can start preparation for examination as according to syllabus.
