Information Regarding IAS Examination.

IAS examination is also known as the civil services examination which is conducted by the UPSC in every year for the selection of the talented candidates of India as the post of IAS officer. IAS officer job is the one of the most famous job of India. To appear in the IAS examination you need the following eligibility criteria.

Educational Qualification = Graduation in any stream from a recognize University. The final year graduation students are also eligible to apply for the IAS examination.

Age Limit = The age must be between 21 to 30 years at the time of appearing of this examination. The age relaxation is also applicable for the reservation category student.

This is the basic eligibility criteria for the IAS examination so after completing graduation degree or in the final year of graduation you can apply for the IAS examination. UNDER GRADUATE is enough to apply IAS examination.

However B.Tech or MCA is an added advantage for to do this.

you have heavy preparation for IAS from 10th std onwards.

Following is the criteria to appear in I.A.S exam:-

-You should be graduate or should be in the final year of such examination

-your age should be between 21 to 30(including both years). , at the time of filling forms.

-You should have good knowledge of English and Hindi.

Bachelor’s degree of a recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physcs, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Enginerring or an equivalent qualification.

Dear friend,
For applying for IAS exam the candidate should be graduate or candidate should be in the final year of degree course .
The age limit required to apply for IAS exam is 21 to 30 yrs.

you can apply for ias after MSC in any hons but for engg students B-tech is enough forms will be available from the month of feb and march then you can apply for it but you should be more than 21 years and eligible for it.

IAS(Indian Administrative Services) exam is conducted by UPSC(union public service commission).

* Candidates should be the citizen of India.
* Candidates should complete graduation from recognized university.
* You should have age limit within 21 to 30 years.
* For OBC category age limit 21 to 33 years
* For SC/ST category age limit 21 to 35 years.
* Final year candidates can also appear for this exam.

Attempts:

* For general - 4 attempts
* For OBC - 7 attempts
* For SC/ST - No limit

Procedure:

1. Preliminary exam
2. Main Exam
3. Interview

I.A.S exam is conducted by U.P.S.C once in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-

>pass the graduation from recognized university.

For open category:-21-30year
For OBC category :- 21-33year
