Will a gap of 3 years affect my career . If i work hard during my graduation course will it help me. Will the opportunities for me vary due to the gap taken.

yes,you are right it will affect your career but if you work hard you can have a good job.don't worry about job give your level best in graduation.now even one year gap will affect a lot..so first give good effort to study...

I am 22 yeras old have passed 10th with 62% and 12th with 59% and BSC(IT) with 72%..But i have 2 years drop after 12th for trying to get admission in IIT.My final BSC(IT) year result were so late
that i couldnt taken addmission to MCA this year(i.e 2012).Now i am planning for Drop again this year and planning for taking admission to Jadavpur University next year.But this will lead a total gap of 3 yeras.Is this good for me.Will i get job after comleting MCA.or should i do MCA from IGNOU without to undo gap...please reply i am very much confused

Gap is common factor...but one should have knowledge and confidence towards work....

Complete your graduation and step into good job...

The only thing you require is having good communication &technical skills......and minimum 65% in your graduation....

Dear Aspirant,

Yes this will be a big problem if you are a fresher and searching for a job in top companies.

Because they dont accept the students with 1year and 2years.Your case is of
3 years.So it becomes very hard to go for interview with that gap in education.

1 year can be manageable with health certificates and etc reasons.But 3 years will be some problem.

Ok my suggestion for you is to go for the companies which are level 3 and another important thing is you need to do any certifications if you are searching for the software jobs.

Because that is only thing which can save you from the 3 year gap education.If you have certification then it speaks it alone to the mouths of the interview panel.

Later after getting the job and experience you can join the Top companies and go on with it.

It will not more affect in your career. still you have five year experiance so that's the positive point for you.

you can also move your education career with parellel to your job. That is also important in your field.

I pursued b.tech degree from two different colleges and in between have a gap of 2 years as I had to quit in between and the next year took some other course(BCA) but could not like it and went back to engineering.
