Will I be eligible to take Indian Economics exam after doing engineering and CWA?


Hi,
i have done engineering and then completed CWA (Cost and works accountancy course from ICWA (now ICAI). ICAI is establed by act of parliament.
Would i be eligible for taking Indian Economics exam (IES) on educational qualification grounds ???

Indian Economics Services examination is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission every year.

Eligibility criteria for the IES exam:

>>Minimum of master's degree in economics, applied economics, business economics and econometrics. Final year candidates of these courses can also apply for the exam.

>>The age limit for the exam is 21-30 years with upper age relaxed for candidates of reserved category.

So, you are not eligible for the IES exam after completion of engineering and CWA course.
