Yes, you are eligible to apply for IBPS examination being a B.E 4th year student. But, if you clear the IBPS PO written examination, you should have your Graduate degree certificate in hand on the date as mentioned in the IBPS PO examination notification. The age criteria required to apply for IBPS PO examination is 20 to 30 years.

Eligibility Criteria Required to apply for IBPS Examinations:

Yes, you will be eligible to apply for IBPS Examination while you are pursuing final year of B.Tech/ B.E. The basic educational qualification required to be eligible for appearing in IBPS recruitment examination's is as follows.

>> Candidates who have completed their Graduation are eligible to apply. Graduation or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized university is required.

>> Candidates who are pursuing their final year are also eligible to apply for IBPS examination. Hence, I can say that you are certainly eligible to apply for IBPS Examination's. But you are required to submit your documents during document verification. Hence, make sure you submit your documents after completion of final round.

IBPS refers to Institute of Banking Personnel Selection and same is a body that conducts various bank examinations for recruitment of bank personnel in various nationalized banks of India.

As far as you are concerned about your eligibility for appearing in IBPS bank examination being a final year student of bachelor degree i.e; student of 4th year of B.E. degree then I would like to let you know that you are certainly eligible for appearing in IBPS bank examination for the post of bank clerk, bank probationary officer and specialist officer ( i.e; IT officer, provided your stream of B.E. degree matches with the requirement of the post ) as per your educational qualification.

Apart from educational qualification, you need to be an Indian citizen with your age lying within 18 years to 28 years for the post of bank clerk, 21 years to 30 years for the post of bank PO and 20 years to 30 years for the post of bank SO. Age relaxation is allowed for reserved category candidates in each cases as per the government norms.

As per the required eligibility standards of the IBPS board for PO and clerk and other specialist officer exam :

A candidate must have passed/ completed bachelor's degree before applying for the examination means if you are pursuing final year/semester of the degree or waiting for the final result then you are not eligible means your degree should be completed with final marks.

As you are pursuing final year of your bachelor's degree so you can not apply for the exams conducted by IBPS board.

But I will suggest you one thing that is saving of time for preparation so you should also start preparation for IBPS Officer or Clerk or Specialist Officer examination and when you will complete your degree with final result you will also learn a lot about the examination of IBPS so when you will appear for the exam first time you will feel free because you will see so many things familiar in exam.

So buy some good books available in the market and start your own preparation or join any good coaching institute so that will guide you and help you in making you understand so many things about the examination and if you complete your learning and practice in this last year of degree then you will apply for the job and you may have the job just after your graduation so that is gonna be like gold for your career.

IBPS exams will be conducted as per dates given in the calendar which is available at the official website of IBPS which is - http://www.ibps.in/.

If you are pursuing BE then you have to complete full course. 3 years or 4 years does not matter. You have to complete Bachelor degree programme.
Appearing candidates are not eligible to apply. So you are not eligible to apply.

Let me tell you that without completing BE degree you are not eligible to apply for bank examination.
As because Graduation/Bachelor degree is important to apply.
First of all complete your degree as because appearing candidates are not eligible to apply.
