Hey friend,

Indian Army is one of the Defence force of India,and it is good to see your interest in joining in Indian Army.As you being a Girl and wishing to join in the force there are criteria's which are needed to be satisfied by the candidate in order to join and it is for the entrance exams and they are:

NCC Special entry:

You can write the NCC Special entry exam if you are a NCC Women Cadet and the qualification needed is that the candidate should have 19-25 years of age and the education qualification needed is that the candidate must have completed a Degree with 50% aggregate.

SSC-Technical Entry:

This exam can be written by the candidate who is a women and has a age limit between 20-27 years of age and the education qualification needed is that the candidate must have completed a degree from a recognized university

JAG entry:

This entry is mainly for the Law Graduates as the candidate who has a age limit between 21-27 years of age and also having the education qualification of completed LLB degree is eligible for applying for this exam.

You can apply for the CDS exam to join in Defence services.

Generally to apply for the exam ,

~ The candidate should have completed Graduation from a Recognised university.
~ The age of the candidate shouldbe in between 19-22 years , to join in Navy
~ The age of the candidate shouldbe in between 19-23 years , to join in Airforce.
~ The age of the candidate shouldbe in between 19-24 years , to join in Army.
~ The age of the candidate shouldbe in between 19-25 years , to join in OTA.
OTA = Officers Training Academy
~ The candidate shouldbe a citizen of India
~ The candidate shouldbe an Unmarried candidate.


So , you should satisfy the above mentioned eligibility criteria points of CDS exam to apply for it.


Selection process is ,

1) Written exam
2) SSB Interview
3) Medical Test


** Note that , the candidates who are in B.tech Final year are also eligible to apply for the exam .
