What is the Category of an Engine Driver in the Indian Railways? Is it Class 3 or class 4?
Respected Sir, I want to know about the class of an Engine Driver in the Indian Railways so I want to know what is the Category of an Engine Driver in the Indian Railways? Is it Class 3 or class 4? Please answer as soon as possible.

Yes, loco pilots or engine drivers in Indian Railways come under class 3 category which is just over class 4 employees in Railways. Under class 4 all the non technical tradesman come.
You can rise to class 2 with experience in Indian railways. There is examination conducted by railways for promotion. |
